A phrase used to signal the start of a race, commonly used in children's races.
"Ready, steady, go!" the teacher called as the children started their race.
When I say, 'Ready, steady, go!' you need to run to the finish line as fast as you can.
Before the start of the race, we heard the starter yell, 'Ready, steady, go!'
